I wanted to make a minute tonight to simply wish each of you a very Safe and Happy Thanksgiving Celebration with your family.  This begins our holiday season with all of the parties and celebrations.  It is a great time to reflect back on the past year and be thankful for all that we have received and achieved while we begin to plan our goals for the upcoming year.  We will find ourselves at various parties, holiday celebrations and other “get-togethers” and sometimes we may notice someone who has “celebrated” a little too much attempting to drive home.

This is a very personal cause for me, some of us have lost someone close to a drunk driving accident.  I don’t ever attempt to sound preachy, but definitely feel a sense of responsibility to simply ask that we all do our part to keep all of the potential innocent victims safe.  I shared the following video with Ben before posting it because it is quite possibly the most graphic example of “why” we shouldn’t ever get behind the wheel intoxicated or even tired.

Please do not click to watch it unless you are truly prepared to see the true dangers of “drunk driving”.  We have all seen the commercials showing people getting arrested, that is not the true danger.  The following video shows multiple examples of adults celebrating at office parties, kids drinking and others just being careless.  The results for each of these situations are simply “horrific” and I want to make sure that nobody clicks the video unprepared.  I have sent this video to many of my personal friends and family and simply wanted to share this with you, my “extended family” as well.  Please enjoy this holiday season and help us to keep the roads safe for everyone.  I wish each of you a wonderful Thanksgiving Celebration tomorrow and a Blessed Holiday Season.

John
